Bidders may therefore be requested to advise whether they would still be prepared to provide the required Goods/Services at their quoted price, even after they have been issued with a Letter of Regret.9Specification/Scope of Work Refer to attached scope of work - “Annexure B”.10Legal review A Proposal submitted by a Respondent will be subjected to review and acceptance or rejection of its proposed contractual terms and conditions by Transnet’s Legal Counsel, prior to consideration for an award of business.11Security clearance Acceptance of this bid could be subject to the condition that the Successful Respondent, its personnel providing the goods and its subcontractor(s) must obtain security clearance from the appropriate authorities to the level of CONFIDENTIAL/ SECRET/TOP SECRET. Obtaining the required clearance is the responsibility of the Successful Respondent. Acceptance of the bid is also subject to the condition that the Successful Respondent will implement all such security measures as the safe performance of the contract may require.12National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database Respondents are required to self-register on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) which has been established to centrally administer supplier information for all organs of state and facilitate the verification of certain key supplier information.
